7.30 a.m. Woke up to prepare to go swim with Joyce. Clouds are gathering, but sun still shining kinda brightly. Maybe will not rain. *crosses fingers*

1.30 p.m. Came back from swimming and lunching and gossiping with Joyce. Spent one hour at the pool and swam 6 laps before coming up due to the thunderstorm clouds hanging ominously overhead. Was a rather good day to swim. Made some accidental almost-racist remarks. Hope wasn't too loud and nobody heard, but Joyce wanted to crawl into a hole and die of embarrassment. Will not repeat remark on public blog.

Went to Causeway Point for lunch. Then have sudden idea to rent VCDs. Kena "dragged" to Marsiling by Joyce. Rented 3 VCDs: Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason and Priceless. Also shared with Joyce to buy a number for 4D. Hope will win first price. If did, will treat my darling friends.

4 p.m. Finished watching Bridget Jones's Diary. Was kinda different from book, but utterly romantic. Was touched to tears. Decided to watch the sequel.

5.30 p.m. Finished Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Was reduced to waterfall of tears at the end. It is utterly utterly romantic. Really wants to have fairytale ending, but realized dream is impossible; as I am living in reality, not fairyland. But one can hope, right? Resolved to read the book version asap. Decided once again to blog ala Bridget Jones's style, as was feeling inspired by her yet again.
