In the midst of preparing for tomorrow's paper (LAST ONE YES YES YES!!!!), I just wanna show my dear readers something:

Okay meow. Back to my Strategic HR! =D Dear blog,

I am so sorry. I have been unfaithful to you. See, I haven't posted in such a long long long time. Haha. You see, I have been rather busy with my revisions and all for my exams. And that I... Ok. Cannot tell you how else I have been unfaithful. It's too much for you, my darling blog, to bear. Just that, I have my 苦衷 ok? =p

Anyway, here's some mid-exam updates.

I have finished my French paper on Monday, and it went extremely well. C'est très facile! Haha. Some of my friends say it's too easy till it's hard to get an A. But I am not too worried about that la. I am confident in my schoolwork, and confident in this paper too. So, yeah. :)

Well, at least the easy paper is over. Now left the harder two. My Social Inequalities paper is still studying-in-progress. Haha. I am not terribly confident of that, but I S/Ued it already, so I am still ok la. High chances of getting an S, unless the paper is très difficile. :p

My HR Strategy paper is the idiotic one. I dunnoe how to start, and given how my midterm went, I guess I am more or less screwed la. But haha. Still gotta start la. Today afternoon, after my final revision for tomorrow's paper. Haha.

Oh well. Guess I gotta start studying now. :p

Kelvin the Cat As you cats probably know, 孙燕姿's 我怀念的 has always been my favorite song.

I recently found out that 萧敬腾 recently published a new album, and in it, he did a cover version of my favorite-est song (click here to listen to it)!

He bought out a new flavor to the song. Yes, it was hurt and 怀念, but it was done from a man's point of view. We got to listen to a very quiet hurt coming from a guy. It's totally different from Stef's very intense raw hurt in the song.

HaHa! You would think that maybe I would identify better to 敬腾's version, since we are both guys. But, I do feel more with 燕姿. Maybe because I am more like her. I like to express my feelings a lot, and they tend to be very raw at times. =)

That's not to say that 敬腾's version is not up to standards, or that I don't like it. No. It is very well-sung, and infused with his own personality and views. He clearly brought out the song's flavor in his own 敬腾's manner, and you gotta admire him for that. It's not easy to do a cover version well.

Here's to 萧敬腾, and may he continue to have a thriving singing career ahead. =D OMG IT'S BLOODY HELL ALMOST 4AM AND I AM STILL UP!

Why?

I was chiong-ing my BH223 Report all the way until now.... Me and my group (yes, we are all awake) are doing all the last min stuff. From 10pm until now.

Up next is my presentation for BH226. Seriously, I don't know how I can survive that. I am garbling all over the place right now. I think I really need some sleep now, and rehearse more tomorrow with my group members.

This is a sign of me going mad. I think I will become completely mad by the end of Thursday. :( So, I am silent for more than a week. *GASP*

HaHa! I was just busy doing all my stuff. Like I said, 4 tests this week, and 4 presentations the next. It's enough to kill a cat.

But at least I managed to defer my RT to the January 2010 period. Luckily. Or else I will really die with all these workload, and going for the dreaded RT 3 times a week.

I think for this coming month, expect a lot of posts about exam preparation and stresses. It's exam period. What do you expect? =p
