OMG OMG OMG! I finally, FINALLY, got myself a partial pass for my IPPT, failing Standing Broad Jump (that useless thing).

What I am really proud of is the fact that for the very first time in my life, I actually passed my 2.4km run with 12:07mins. Yes. It's the fastest I have ever ran for 2.4km in my life. I am darn proud of myself! =D

HaHa! A very funny thing occurred during my last lap of the 2.4km run. I was overtaking my friend (I got to know this tengah ex-regular cause I saw him wearing a TAB tshirt, and just started a conversation with him...) and I told him "last round le!".

Then, I heard a voice shouting behind me, "LAST LAP JIAYOU!" I thought it was my friend encouraging me, but it turned out to be some complete stranger who is also running the final lap. So I just chionged with him. HaHa! The funny thing is, as we were dashing to the finish line, we kept shouting things like, "LAST LAP LAST LAP ARGH LAST LAP!!!!!!" I can see all the PTIs and the people who are waiting for their turn to run staring at the both of us, and some were even laughing. HaHa!

Actually quite throw face lor, but I don't care, cause I passed!! I am damn happy la, omg!!! =D

And now, 我怀念的 is my running song. I keep singing it (mentally, of course) to distract myself from the pain and hunger and breathlessness I was experiencing when running. HaHa. Sing until the point where I kept repeating one line over and over (forgot which it is le...). But yeah! Favorite song FTW! =D

I meow at the partial failure. =p The first week of my Year 2 Sem 2 was just over, and I am here to give a brief review about the week, and a preview of things to come.

I have attended the first seminar classes of my 2 HR cores in this week, namely HR Research and Selection & Assessment. Both of them sound quite interesting, especially the latter course. Staffing, after all, is quite an important area in HR, and I think it would be good to get a foundation on the intricacies and strategies of staffing issues.

I have also attended Accounting 102's lecture on Wednesday. It was basically a review lecture of Accounting 101. Review, plus some new facts. I realised that AA102 is gonna be tougher than 101. I think I must put in more effort to maintain my A for Accounting lor.

I haven't attended French lessons yet, because they start next week. After reading the notes and course outline, I realised that they will be going at a faster pace than French 1. French 2 will be doing 3 full units, whereas French 1 only did 2.25 units. =p Looks like there's gonna be more pressure to keep up!

From the way I see hor, this sem is gonna be a lot tougher than last sem. I admit la, last sem I was basically slacking for the first 3/4 of the semester. With so many projects and tests and assignments, I think I will be constantly kept on my toes this semester. HaHa! Don't worry, I will rise up to the challenge and conquer them all, and get a nice GPA in the end! =D

Academic news aside, I have started my CNY shopping! =D I bought myself a pair of white berms from Options in JP. The rest of my outfit is slowly coming along. HaHa! I am so excited! I hope my planned outfit will materialize nicely! =D After dumping all my previous semester's notes everywhere during/after my exams, I have finally stopped procrastinating and started cleaning up everything.

Well, I had to. I have to clean up my files to make space for new semester's notes. And the notes lying haphazardly on my desk is rather unsightly.

After doing my spring-cleaning, the only notes I kept were my French 1 notes, cause I might need it to revise/look back for my upcoming French 2. =) Oui, I am taking French 2! =D

If only I can get my other NBS elective tomorrow during Add/Drop.... Wish me luck! *crosses finger* Do you remember back in June, I had some idiot calling me, and subsequently waking me up, to reach a consultant?

Well. It happened again. 6 months later.

Not the same guy though (although he did call a couple of months later, and got another tongue-lashing from me...). This time, it is a lady. I am like, "No, this is NOT a consulting firm!"

Which makes me realize that the fault probably lies with the stupid consultant. What number has he been giving out to his clients? My god. If I am pissed enough, maybe I would find out the number of this consultant and call him to give him a tongue-lashing of my own.

Luckily I woke up at 9am already, or else this would be another case of being woken-up-by-nothing. I realised I haven't blogged for almost a week already. Gosh. What have I been doing for the past 6 days?

Well, it was mostly sitting at home and watching videos. Wait. Not really la.

I was watching Glee! It's a new US series about a high school show choir.

Coming from a choir background, I really appreciate the show's concept, and I simply love watching the characters perform various musical numbers. I also like the plot and how it is has been showing off the characters. Too bad the show is on a hiatus until April though. Looks like I have to wait 3 more months to continue watching the series. =(

I also had my hair cut. Let me just say that it is a totally new direction. OMG. I don't want to say it on the blog la. If you happen to see me, you will know. For those with facebook, maybe you will see pictures of my with my new hair soon. OMG lor.

Yeah. Watch Glee if you haven't! =D It's 5 hours into the new decade of the millennium, and my house is bustling with activity.

There are 2 mahjong tables open, and various members of the ASG are playing against each other. I decided to stop after being on a winning streak. I think I should save my winnings when I can, and also, I am kinda tired anyway.

I am not a resolution-person. I hardly make them; and even if I did, I tend to forget them at the end of the year.

But this year, I felt like making one, because I felt like I had to.

For 2010, I resolve to be more careful of what I say to others, and to really think about what I really want to say, before I end up over-promising and hurting others.

So, yeah. Let's see if I can manage to improve on this at the end of this year. =D
