Okay. So just now, my entire block had a blackout, for like 30 minutes.

So, like any normal citizen, I turned to The Yellow Pages for help. The first page wrote, "For power disconnection, call .... ", and so I did.

Helpline: Good morning, how may I help you?
Me: There's a power outage at my block....
Helpline: I am sorry, you have to call your town council for that. The number is at the lift landing...

Like, OMG. Then what's the freaking point of putting that number there huh, you tell me? So, yeah. Here's something you all Singaporeans can learn from my ordeal: the number to call for power outage is the town council number at the lift landing. Pretty useful info, no?
