So, Michael Jackson is dead.

At 7.45am, fresh out of bed, I saw the headline "Michael Jackson dead" in my CNN newsfeed. I clicked on it, a bit disbelieving.

It turns out that he died of a cardiac arrest at 12pm Pacific Standard Time. I was sleeping, it being 3am in Singapore.

After I got back from my run with BFF, my entire Facebook homepage was full of status updates of my friends posting tributes of MJ using video feeds, status updates and quizzes.

I never really appreciated his songs. I only sang one or two in my secondary school choir, and I even forgot the titles. =X

Well, he did shape the world's music at the peak of his career, so, yeah. Credit must be given when it is due, yes?
